Okay fans. In case you haven't figured it out by now, this site is officially DEAD. There has still be next to no concrete information released about this movie. Right now the best news I can give you is that FOX has more than likely scrapped the project and what was once a great ANIME that was turned into a CARTOON will not be further tainted by corperate assholes that think they know what we want. I hardly ever talk to Mr. Z anymore and I know nothing about the movie now so please stop e-mailing me. If you still want to keep up with this whole thing go to http://dbzlivemovie.proboards18.com where I believe Mr. Z has his own section.
Oh and there is a guy going around on the board pretending to be me. Don't believe him. I'm am completly finished with anything to do with DBZ so if you ever see my name again it's probably a fake. Sorry fellas, but I just don't give a shit anymore.

NEWS
June 21, 2003:
Roland Emmerich Fires Goku!
Sorry for the delay. The truth is I should have updated last week but I never got around to it. (That's code for "I'm lazy.") I've got a lot of cool news so here I go. This is me going...
First of all, the director has finally been reveled! His name is Roland Emmerich, the director of Universal Soldier, Stargate, Independence Day, Godzilla, and The Patriot. Now we know that the movie will have some kick ass mass destruction. Mass destruction rocks! Some of you might not like the idea of this guy directing but I think it's great. If he rejected that first script he can't be too bad.
Some more good news: Hugh Jackman has finally been given the boot. That'll teach Mr. High-And-Mighty to hold up production. I think he's a great actor and a pretty good choice for Goku but if he's going to hold up DBZ then SCREW YOU, JACKMAN! YOU SUCK! But who will be Goku now? Mr. Z tells me now that their main reason for hold ups is now gone they're trying to get started on the movie as soon as possible and have already gotten top three candidates for the new Goku. I don't know who they are or anything about them except that they're equally famous as Hugh Jackman. Start your speculation, fanboys.
Now for the convention. I mentioned in the last update that there will be a convention July 14-18 that will have a release of pictures and information from FOX. Well that convention is Anime Expo 2003 and will be on July 3-6. This doesn't surprise me seeing as how Anime Expo is THE anime convention. But why the hell did Mr. Z tell me it was 14-18? The man he gets his information from has been referred to as an "idiot" many many many times by Mr. Z himself so go figure. If you go to the official Anime Expo site and take a look at the lists of exhibits you will see not a damn thing about DBZ but will see that there will be something similar about the live action Ninja Scroll which will be very cool. Apparently it's supposed to be a big surprise so they asked them not to tell anyone. This seems very sketchy to me so approach with caution. If Z is right then this will be a very happy time but if he's wrong then we're all fools. Hopefully he's right and we'll all finally get the goods because so far Mr. Z's delivery of evidence hasn't been too great. Remember, Anime Expo 2003 on July 3-6 at Anaheim, California. If any of you generous visitors go then some pictures and information would be greatly appreciated. My e-mail is [email protected]
Some of you probably know that I sometimes visit the official forum and post things there before I put them here. There's a thread there about the director in which Mr. Z shows up and answers some questions. Sadly a couple of the bitter angry nerds had to go and slam their foot in their mouth and Mr. Z is gone. I'll try to get this sites own forum and maybe he'll answer some questions there.
I mad a mistake in the summary of the new script. I said that at the end of the fight with Vegeta Goku goes Super Saiyan. He did in the previous script but that part has now been written out. Goku will not go Super Saiyan but they will hint at it. Sorry for the confusion. It was my fault.
One more little rant before I go: I saw The Hulk yesterday and I've gotta say that I was very disappointed. It's been getting great reviews but I thought it sucked. It was so boring and drawn out and Hulk was hardly in it at all. The parts where he did show up weren't that great. A lot of fans want Ang Lee to direct DBZ but if you ask me I think that's stupid. Croutching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was boring, silly, and very overrated. As was The Hulk. Ang Lee stinks!
